    1. Lisick? That is interesting---I actually have read a few places that was the possible maiden name for one of my relatives. I will have to look that up---we are probably cousins!

  3. Hello, My name if Jeff Kascsak. I'm interested to know if you have any familiarity with this Rusyn surname -as to my surprise it was very common in the old country. My Great Grandfather was from Kruzlov and immigrated to Wilkes-Barre, PA in 1896. The family were/are members of St. Mary's Greek Byzantine Church in Kingston, PA. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide/share. -Sincerely Jeff

  4. Hello! My name is Tom Kovalak, Jr (Koval'ak, Kovalyak) and my ancestors are from Circ and Orlov, Slovakia. My Great grandfather Mikulas (Nick) Koval'ak was born in Circ in 1863 and emigrated to Anita, PA in 1885. His wife Anna Kovalcik (Kovalchick) was born in Orlov in 1870 and moved to Anita in 1887 to marry Nick. One of their 14 children was my grandfather, George Kovalak, born in Punxsutawney, PA in 1906. My father, Thomas Kovalak Sr was born in Willis, MI in 1906. I'm sure we're related!
